I know what these people are like. I've been working with them for longer than just in the city, Tank. They're also scared, and they also deserve someone to step up and give them hope that maybe, just maybe, things will be better tomorrow.

they've been scared for decades of shit that never stands a chance of happening

sudden communist domination of the world, gays forcibly converting all their children, the government confiscating all their weapons, and the book of revelations becoming real

just because they're afraid of something actually going down now doesn't mean they're any more reachable

if you want to give them hope, don't give this dickhead the satisfaction of you actually getting on his show

you have the money and the influence necessary to make a broadcast on your own terms, and have it appear everywhere, to become unignorable

you don't have to hand some loud fuck the keys to more undeserved ratings, more undeserved ad money, and more old people screaming at the moon about they don't even know anymore

However, I'm not going to just hack the systems of every TV, computer, and cellphone in the world, and showing them that I can and will play by their rules gives them the motivation to trust me.

Sure, this guy doesn't deserve the ratings that will come with this, but I'm not doing it for him. Despite the fact that the people listening aren't the brightest, and have always been scared, that's in the past, and I'm making the future. I will teach them to not be afraid.
